Brettski was born in Charleville, central Queensland, in 1966 and very soon after moved to Brisbane where he has gained much acclaim for his own brand of ‘eclectic eccentric groove’. He is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and performer, with an alter-ego called Badclown whom he believes is his stronger self [but that’s another story]. Brettski has been musical director for 14 Rock ‘n’ Roll Circus shows since 1989. Commanding an impressive array of electronic gizzmos and musical instruments, Brettski has often been suspended above the circus stage pumping out the bizarre sounds that have done so much to give Rock n Roll Circus shows their distinct flavour. Brettski is currently touring with Circus Monoxide and otherwise continues to work tirelessly as a DJ, musician, musical director, and on the recording of original compositions.
